Nov. 2022 Hooray For Hollywood!

Recently, I got tapped to take over FOH mixing duties on the Suede/Manic Street Preachers tour for a couple of dates, due to a Covid illness. One of the gigs we did was the Hollywood Palladium, a venue in which I had never worked. The last time I stepped foot in the 60's era art deco building was to attend a Ramones show (circa 1987). The place oozes LA showbiz history (think Sinatra, JFK, Merv Griffin). Live Nation recently took over operations and there is a great crew and nice sounding D&B PA. Of course, the day after the gig I tested positive for Covid, what are you going to do?
