I've been in the lab mixing some live recordings I made at Viva Las Vegas last April. Among these was a set by local roots powerhouse Vicky Tafoya and her great band. Vicky's husband had recently passed, and she put on a powerful, emotional set that blew everyone away. Here is a sample.
